The Overlap Advantage
A four-module program that builds consistent management capability across your manager layer, delivered live, built around your operating model, and reinforced by coaching.
What Makes It Different
Most leadership development teaches leadership or management. This develops both, and the judgment to know which the moment calls for.
-
Delivered personally by a former senior operator — not a facilitator working from a licensed deck.
-
Built around your operating model, your metrics, and the actual decisions your managers face.
-
Spaced over months, not compressed into days, so that practice has time to become habit.
-
Measured using data you already collect. No new system to buy, and the results show up in your numbers.
-
Built to be handed over. Your leaders will run the cadence without me — that’s the design, not a side effect.

Coaching
Install the operating system of performance. Defining what good looks like, setting standards people can actually meet, and diagnosing performance fairly, before defaulting to effort or attitude as the explanation
Trade being right for getting it right. Building the trust and psychological safety where problems surface early, dissent is useful, and people tell you what is actually happening.
Make accountability something people seek rather than resent — built on purpose, mastery and autonomy, and carried by what leaders do repeatedly. That’s where stated values become real.
A leader’s most important skill. Developing capability, confidence and ownership in other people, using a practical framework that works in a ten-minute conversation on a busy day.
Who attends
Cohorts are built by level, because the conversations are different:
-
Senior leaders — sharpening judgment, leading through complexity, and scaling trust across an organization.

-
Managers of managers — leading through other leaders rather than directly, and holding a standard you no longer set yourself. This is the layer where consistency is made or lost.

-
New people-leaders — navigating the hardest transition there is, from doing the work to leading the people who do it.

A high-potential cohort can be drawn from any of these. High potential is a designation, not a level - what changes the conversation is scope, not label.
Formats
Delivered in person, virtually, or blended. A typical cohort is 18 to 24 participants, with the four modules spaced across three to six months and supported by group sessions and one-to-one coaching. Scope, pacing and emphasis are set after the Variance Audit, so the program addresses what your data actually shows.
